My name is Konstantinos Maziotis, the artist behind KM Handmade Jewels. I was born and live in the historic city of Corinth, Greece. Although my career began in a different direction, life led me to an unexpected passion: handmade jewelry. After studying computer science and working in the private sector in Athens for ten years, the financial crisis of 2008-2009 inspired me to explore new paths.
During a long trip to Ikaria, I discovered jewelry-making up close, watching artisans at their benches. I was captivated by the delicate craftsmanship and the stories embedded in every piece. Over the next three years, my fascination grew as I engaged with archaeology through public programs, deepening my appreciation for art, history, and creation.
Following this journey, I dedicated two years to mastering varnishing techniques in a specialized workshop, then pursued formal jewelry studies at E.E.S. GALILEO. A four-year collaboration with a leading silversmith company confirmed my calling, and I decided to focus entirely on jewelry as my profession.
Today, I work from my own studio in Corinth, crafting unique handmade jewelry under the brand KM Handmade Jewels. Each piece reflects a blend of creativity, tradition, and contemporary artistry designed to be worn, cherished, and remembered.
